How to make an egg gun?

Hello, I'm in need of an egg gun with the potential to fire eggs up high without the power to break a window or damage any property. I indeed found the egg gun videos on the internet, yet im in need of more of an egg torpedo? Any suggestions as to how I can change the original egg gun in order to aim for higher targets? Would a type of sling shot but larger work? I need something light and easy to run with.

Have you ever seen one of those things in pet stores for throwing balls for dogs. They look like a ice cream scoop on a real long handle.

Maybe a sling would work.
