How to make an image of my computer? urgent plzz help!!?

I want to know how do people make an image of their computers. for example when showing something on websites:(How to do that & that blahhhh blahhhh..) so basically when they are telling how to do something, there are often images provided of things been done......Hope you understand what I am trying to say..........plzz help!!

NOTE: I am not talking about hard disk data image!!

  1. - press " Print Scrn/SysRq " (Print Screen) keyboard button

    - then open Paint : -> Edit -> Paste


  2. On your keyboard there is a key called Prt Scr... it's right above the keys which include the delete key. Press that key once and you will take a "screenshot" of whatever is showing on your screen. Once you have it open up paint and go to edit>paste. That should paste the screenshot into paint and from there save it as a .jpg... if you want to display the image on the internet then upload your image to a picture hosting site like photobucket or imageshack.

  4. ah. i think i know what your talking about. in tutorials and they show the site, you need a screen capture program. there are many, such as snagit, and hypercam. or, if you just want 1 picture, you need top press

You need a program that able to create image, such as "Drive Image 2002/7.0/8.0, Acronis True Image 11.0 or Norton Ghost 14.0.  These are the software that can create an image for data, OS, and documents.  However, these softwares aren't free, but you could download it @ http://www.torrentz.com for free with no risk.


  7. I use BBFlashback, prior to which I used Camtasia and Snagit which were free for a short time, but they are no longer free.

    You can also use Windows Movie Maker, simply edit your pictures in a photo edit program, add narration / music to the timeline.
