How to make announcement of a lost girl in a shopping centre?

if you can take a minute to look around your area we are looking for a little girl... age.... color hair.... she is wearing... if you see her please alert the nearest employee.

From what I know in our store its like this but for missing child it might be code yellow or something similar

Attention shoppers Code ADAM" from americas most wanted host lost son adam"Repeat CODE ADAM, Call the name of the child to meet or find a cashier closest to her location and stay there. Chances are cashiers are parents too and would rather help then see harm done to a child. Also ask the parents if there is a code word incase they are sepearated that way whe you find a lil girl ask the word and if she responds firmly you know its her.

If you have a walkie system for your  ppl give a discription of the child, name, age, what they are wearing, and any distinguising marks that are visable. Second 1 person needs to get the parents to a spot near or close to the most popular  doors. By now your ppl should have every enterence, exit, bathroom, changing room or deep corner coverd and standing at or no more then 5 ft from those marks. Also no one enters your store and no one with a child about that girls age leaves.. You need to bring that photo to that exit where they are stopped and make sure its not that child. If its not that child they are free to leave. Also if in 15 mins you have not found this child call the local police and get their assistance when they get there give all info you have and get that picture curculating asap.Get in contact with all stores in the mall thru your ppl they can be a huge help too. And if you found a lost child and need to find the parents, it would be something similar to that . Just say you are looking for the parents of a 2 year old girl (same as above) And where they can find her. Just make sure the child recognizes them and they aren't strangers !

I used to work at Wal-mart. There it's a Code Adam. We all stopped what we where doing and looked for the child until they were found!
