How to make art assignment look unique and exciting

I have been asked to write something on the 'elements and principles of design'. Now i have typed down the stuff required on a paper.. I want to give this paper a bit artistic touch which may give it a unique touch and should look exciting to my teacher when he reads it.. I decided to burn down the corners of page but i guess its been overused quiet alot before as well.

So i want you to help me out with some creative/artistic idea in visual presentation.. Thank you

It would depend on the length of your paper, and if your instructor is picky about MLA and all that, but.. what about layering sheets of paper (stapling at the top). For example, your title page is 3in in length, pg. 1 is 4in., etc, etc until you reach a full-size sheet at the end. Or, the title page is a square 3x3in, pg. 1 is 4x4in. (stapling in the corner).
