  1. I think u mean Baked Alaska which everyone is answering. Try deep fried Ice-cream. Get your favourite ice-cream roll it into round balls then re-freeze till really hard. Make some batter,flour milk and an egg and a table spoon of castor sugar. Get your oil in the fryer to about 180 degrees. Drop the ice-cream into the batter then into the hot oil. When brown and crisp about a minute and a half then take out and drain on kitchen paper. Sprinkle of icing sugar some fresh strawberry's and dive in . Delicious


  2. I have never heard of someone baking ice cream before.

    If you mean a baked alaska which is basically meringue that covers ice cream and is then baked in a hot oven till golden brown! very delicious! Below is a recipe for baked alaska I use:

    Ingredients for Baked Alaska

    Whites 6 eggs

    6 tablespoons powdered sugar

    2 quart brick of ice cream

    Thin sheet sponge cake

    Instructions

    Make meringue of eggs and sugar as in Meringue I, cover a board with white paper, lay on sponge cake, turn ice cream on cake (which should extend one-half inch beyond cream), cover with meringue, and spread smoothly.

    Place on oven grate and brown quickly in hot oven.

    The board, paper, cake, and meringue are poor conductors of heat, and prevent the cream from melting.

    Slip from paper on ice cream platter.

    I have also heard of deep fried ice cream but whether it works or not is another story. a ball of ice cream is covered in batter and then deep fried in oil.

  5. well lets see i got through he internet and found a site on how to make the baked ice cream but my mind got mixed up and couldn't remember what site it was but i remember the rest.

    Ingredients:

    3 egg whites, spoon or egg beater, 125 ml sugar, a big thick hard cookie (such as Chinese almond cookie), 250 ml ice cream any flavor(not melted and any flavor), a cookie sheet, alumni foil and an oven

    Procedure:

    Heat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit/260 degrees Celsius. cover the cookie sheet with alumni foil. beat the egg whites until they form soft peaks. add the sugar to the egg whites, 15 ml at a time beating after each addition, continue to beat until the mixture is thick and glossy. next place the cookie on the cookie sheet and place the ice cream on top of the cookie, taking care that the ice cream does not spill over the edge of the cookie. next spread the egg white and sugar mixture over the ice cream, covering it completely. bake on the bottom rack of the oven for 3 to 5 minutes until the mixture is light brown. then your baked ice cream is finished. hope that helped.

    2/3 cup sugar

    5 egg whites, room temperature

    1 layer sponge cake

    1 brick chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream or other flavor, very firmly frozen

    Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add the sugar to egg whites and beat until meringue forms stiff peaks. Cut sponge cake 1 inch larger than the brick of ice cream. Spread meringue over the ice cream and the cake, taking care to seal completely so no ice cream is exposed.

    Bake at 400° until meringue is light brown.

    Serves 8.
