How to make bathtime fun for a 4 year old?

I remember when I was a kid, it was always lots of fun for me if my mom sang songs when she gave me baths, and if there were toys in the tub and fruity-smelling soap and shampoo for me to use. :)

Toys! omg its soo fun, lol when i was younge i loved playing with my toy cars under the water!, bubble baths are fun too!, but im not sure a 4 year old is the right type , but who knows? maby he will like it?

*get some bath toys or let your child bring in some toys like cars etc

*use some bubble bath

*draw with bath crayons

*swimming if your bath is big enough

*use bath fizzers or the ones that change colour, even use gelli baff with turns the water all jelly and gooey (although its NOT edible) and the water changes colour, it doesn't even stain

*sing songs

*make waves

*get a little water gun and shoot rubber ducks!

Lots of bubble bath and colourful bath chalk is always fun for kids.  Participate in draw with them and encourage imaginative play.  

Try using themes--like a farm--and then draw animals together.  Rubber duckies can still be fun once in a while.

My son loves taking in a mini water squirter to shoot at the ducks and bath bombs that fizz.

First...make sure it is safe!

Secure the hot tap.

always fill with cold water first...then hot.

Pour cold water over the hot tap after - so it's not hot to the touch.

A rubber duck is the legendary winner evey time! Bubbles are fun, too!

Make sure the athroom isn't cold...because that makes it not so much fun to undress. Give baby a little toy bear or baby to wash so they can learn to have a 'participant' role.

My boys love playing with plastic cups and the empty shampoo bottles. Very simple thing even tho they have toys for the bath, i find these are the things they play with the most, they love pouring the water from one to another,pretending they are making cups of tea and so on... they can spend an hour in there with 2 cups and 2 bottles,sometimes they can have my kitchen funnel and they also like playing with goggles and a snorkle!

I had little rubber toys that my dad would put n plays with along the side of the tub... My favorites were a Goofy in expedition attire and a little man with one of those big VooDoo masks on.. and he'd make them sing Deyo!  Deeyooo, Daylight come and me wanna go home!!

Cracked me up - I loved bath time just because of that. lol

put his fave toy that is water proof in da bath or there is special bubble soap and let him make bubbles in the tub of you can come in too with a bathing suit. if you have a jaccusi you can put the water blasts to low and put bubbles in and buy a toy boat ship submariene.

Theres loads of ways! put him or her into the bath then get the toys an let the child have a little play If getting bored why not drop some of the toys into the bath make it exciting by asking  if your child can find them?

What about a bubble bath having fun with bubbles is great for little kids.

If he doesnt like getting his eyes wet what about googles for the bath so he can look around. When washing his hair make sure the soap doesnt get in his eyes if it does make sure to give him a small towel so his eyes dont sting. If your having trouble getting him into the bath or if hes playing up then what about a treat if he does do everything hes told in the bath. You coulfd give him a few sweets or maybe take him swimming as it will be getting him used to water.
