  1. yes, put it in the machine, fill with water (the water part of pot) turn it on and itll make coffee

  2. If the machine's got a reusable filter, you don't need paper ones.  Mind you, after a few years the filter becomes pretty revolting - then you can throw it away and use paper.

  3. It's fine to use the filter that the machine came with. Just make sure you wash it regularly or purchase new filters of the same type so it doesn't rust.

  4. I have 4 coffee makers 12 cup  4 cup and 12 cup camp stove style  Each require a paper filter..

and an 8 cup pot like you see for the camp fire that has no filter..

I know there is an European style that has a filter that forces the grounds to the bottom

There is also a metal filter that replaces the paper..??

it is just another thing that needs to be washed wasting water

Why not describe your coffee pot

  5. yeah thats fine

  6. Yes that is fine that's the way my coffee pot is I don't use the paper filters

  7. no or else ur gonna get coffee grounds all over ur coffee just buy a re usable one

  8. carefully

  9. A filter is a filter, but I would recomend those paper ones.

  10. I use the filter that came with my maker as well.  The nice thing about the washable filter is you never run out of filters!  They last a while also, as long as you keep em clean :)  mmmm I love coffee!!
