    First, you need to have potatoes (coz fries are fried potatoes). Ok so you already have potations, ryt? If you don't want the skin, then peel it. if you want it to then leave it just the way it is. Remember before cutting or peeling, wash it to remove the dirt. Slice it slant, not too thick nor thin, the way you used to eat french fries. Then have a 2 cups of oil in a wok or frying pan, wait til its hot so that the fries will cook evenly. Don't burnt it, as soon as you see it golden brown then its ready. Drain the excess oil on it, put the fried fries in a plate with napkin so that the oil will absorb by it.

    AND IT'S READY TO GO!!

  3. cut your potatoes into fry shapes. slice them about 1/2 inch and then cut the opposite way, you get the idea. ice them, this is a lil step most skip. soak them in ice water in your fridge overnight. the water will get all red and nasty but it takes the starch out. rinse them off and deep fry them. you can also shake them in an eggwhite batter and bake them in the oven, they will get crispy. about 400 degrees is sufficient.

    Heat oil in deep fryer to about 375°.

    Place potato strips in a single layer in deep fry basket; fry in hot oil for about 4 minutes, or until golden brown and tender.

    Drain the homemade french fries on paper towels then keep warm in the oven while frying remaining batches.
