How to make friends with a new girl?

There is a new girl in my grade this year. Yesterday when school started she seemed really shy and seemed to want a friend but didnt know how to get one. She seemed really nice. I havent made a new friend since the third grade so I do not know how to go about doing it. Help please!

well first show that you are friendly. Sit next to her or say hi to her everyday. with a smile ,dude.

She seems shy. So, all you have to do is make her relax. Try to relax yourself. Go talk to her . Make her draws into your talking..

talk about school or.. like someone interesting.

Offer her to show her around the school, and ask if there is any question that she had about the school that you are happy to answer it. Over all just be friendly to her, thats the best you can do.
