  1. Fresh crushed garlic!  The taste of fresh garlic is unbeatable!

  2. The way I do it is to crush the raw garlic and saute' in a smidgen of extra virgin olive oil in a small pan and then dribble it on top, or you could simply mix in with the sauce. I dribble it on when I want the garlic flavor on part of the pizza, and mix in the sauce if I want the whole thing to have garlic. Not everyone wants garlic. I use about 1 large clove for every two slices I anticipate flavoring for a typical LARGE pizza. I suppose you could use garlic powder equally well when mixed in with the sauce.

  3. I think the best way is to brush the top of the crust with some olive oil, sprinkle it with garlic salt, parsley, Italian seasoning, and then cheese. If you wish, put the Italian seasoning on top of the cheese to make it look nicer.

  4. Garlic-Flavored Pizza

    Things You’ll Need:

        * Self-raising flour

        * 1/4 stick of butter

        * 1/2 cup of milk (low-fat)

        * Garlic puree (or 1 finely chopped clove)

        * Sieve

        * Mixing bowl

        * Cutting board

        * Roller

    Step1

    Put the flour through a sieve into a mixing bowl. You want to make sure you have removed all lumps. Take the time to sieve the flour well. Most sieves sit comfortably on a mixing bowl.

    Step2

    Mix the slab of butter into the flour. Rolling your sleeves up and diving right in there with your hands is the best way to do this (make sure you wash your hands well). Really break up the butter slab and mix it well. This will take several minutes.

    Step3

    Dump in your garlic puree or finely chopped garlic clove into the bowl. Stir that in until it is well mixed.

    Step4

    Pour the milk into the bowl a little at a time. Pour and stir is the mantra here.

    Step5

    Mound the mixture into one big ball of dough. Make sure you have well mixed each ingredient.

    Step6

    Place the dough out on a cutting board. Then roll it to your desired shape. While most pizzas are obviously round, you can have fun making other shapes, such as squares, rectangles and triangles. You are now ready to add toppings and bake your garlic-flavored pizza base.

  5. Definitely Roasted Garlic  !!!!

    Method

    1 Preheat the oven to 400°F.

    2 Peel away the outer layers of the garlic bulb skin, leaving the skins of the individual cloves intact. Using a knife, cut off 1/4 to a 1/2 inch of the top of cloves, exposing the individual cloves of garlic.

    3 Place the garlic heads in a baking pan; muffin pans work well for this purpose. Drizzle a couple teaspoons of olive oil over each head, using your fingers to make sure the garlic head is well coated. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 400°F for 30-35 minutes, or until the cloves feel soft when pressed.

    4 Allow the garlic to cool enough so you can touch it without burning yourself. Use a small small knife cut the skin slightly around each clove. Use a cocktail fork or your fingers to pull or squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of their skins.

    Eat as is or mash with a fork and use for cooking. Can be spread over warm French bread, mixed with sour cream for a topping for baked potatoes, or mixed in with Parmesan and pasta....  it'd also be great on your pizza!!!
