  1. Green tea has to be gingerly made. If you do anything even the slighhtest wrong, it will taste horribly wicked. But properly made, green tea will taste very good, mild, and slightly sweet. Not all green teas taste the same. Some have a grassy taste, or seaweed taste, or hay-like taste, nutty taste, etc.

For 250 ml of water, you probably will want to use about 2-3 teaspoons of dry leaf. You may want to increase that amount if you find it's too light. But about 2-3 teaspoons should do it. DO NOT use too much leaf, because the tea will taste bitter and astrigent.

Boil the water. After it has boiled, open the lid, and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes. Green tea must be brewed with a much lower water temperature than other teas. About 70-80 deg. water should do it. (In fact, some green teas can almost be brewed perfectly using room-temperature water!)

Steep green tea for about 2-3 minutes. DO NOT let the tea oversteep, otherwise it will be bitter and astringent, and undrinkable.

If 3 minutes is a little too strong, then try 2 minutes. Or even 1 minute.

Pour out all of the green tea from the teapot into cups (or another teapot). You don't want any water sitting on the leaves in the  pot - because it will just stew the leaves and make the next infusion bitter. In fact, some people prefer to leave the teapot lid off while steeping the tea. And some people like to leave the teapot lid off when the leaves are resting between steeps.

Green teas can be steeped about 3 times - and after 3 steeps basically don't have much flavor. But try 4 steeps anyway, and see.

Green tea has many health benefits, like preventing cancer and heart disease. There are many other benefits. Don't know about  hair loss though. But if you rinse your hair with green tea solution, it's supposed to be good for hair health. Use a fresh solution. Don't let it sit too long.
