How to make homemade-candles?

Question

I know that I need to buy candle wicks, wax, spray, etc. but I don't want to buy premade wax that has it's own scent, I want to do something where I can add ingredients I have at home to make my own scent. I went to bath and body yesterday and bought a cinnamon candle and now I want to make candles, but I don't want to buy cinnamon wax I want to make that cinnamon smell myself. Is there any way I can do that? And do I have to buy things from the store or are there items at home I can use?

It is best to buy a kit from toys are us to start you off you get all you neen and basic instructions to get you started. My wife started that way now she makes candles in all shapes and sizes with many different scents. It is a good hobby and all the family will get the benefit.

i have no idea but when u want to make it smell u can just use cinnamon at home lol that's what i would do :) now u have to pick me as best answer cuz i picked u for mine :)

if you go to micheals or a.c. moore, they have a whole section of plain liquid wax and scents to put in it.  u can ask the people that work there, they can tell u how to make it and everything
