How to make iced tea?

i wanna make delicious iced tea. what kind of tea should i use and how do i make it so its really yum and refreshing? should i add fruit juice or any other sweeteners. recipes and tips would b awesome. thanks heaps! =)

Use peach tea bags.

Boil large 5 qt. pot of water, as it begins to bubbles turn or heat & add 3 or 4 teabags.

Refrigerate.

Sweeten to taste individually & then add ice cubes.

5 Lipton tea bags. Small pot of water. Tie tea bags together and remove the paper tags, drop in the pot. bring to a boil for 5-7 mins. Turn off and let cool to room temperature. In a gallon pitcher, put 2 cups of sugar. Pour the tea in, squeeze excess out of bags, and stir until the sugar dissolves. With the bags still in the pot, fill the pot with fresh water, circulate the bags, add to the pitcher, squeeze excess, repeat until gallon pitcher is full. Best sweet tea in the south!

My grandmother has been in North Carolina her entire life , so thats the south and they say the south has the best iced sweet tea. She makes the best tea ever and this is all she does. ( I also do this exact same thing and its delicious).We use lipton tea bags. We boil the bags in two cups of water. In a pot and the stove. Then once the tea bags have boiled for one minute take the pot from heat and let the tea bags sit in the water for three minutes.In you tea picture mix a 1/2 cups of granulated sugar with 1 cups of hot water. Stir with a WOODEN spoon until dissolved. Then after your tea bags have sat for three minutes, Pour into the sugar water. Add as much water as needed to fill the picture. Stir well, Then put in the fridge. And of course serve with ice. And the wooden spoon thing is a must. I have no idea why, but you just have to use one. It doesnt taste the same if you dont use a wooden spoon. Good luck Whoops! we only use two tea bags.

i think lipton is the best kind of tea buy the big container of lipton tea and add things like honey, lemon juice, and maybe a little sugar and you should have the perfect iced tea good luck

I live in the South (NC) and we Iced Tea is our drink of choice.

Us oldies use Luzianne Tea (I use Decaf so I can drink the iced team all day long).   You can make many variations of the tea by buying different flavored tea bags .....but i will give you the only tea we like here at home -- and it is sweet and the best

1) 5 tea bags  of Luzianne Tea (Decaf) for a jug  -

2) place tea bags in a tea pot and pour boiling water over them - enough water to cover plus a bit more.  Let sit for about 5 minutes.

3) pour the tea into the jug and add FRESH water.  IF YOU WANT UNSWEETENED TEA, STOP HERE.   Put in fridge and enjoy.  We sometimes add sliced lemon (when we serve it) or mint leaves from the garden.

4) For SWEET Tea (our preferred):   While the tea is doing it's thing in the tea pot make a 'simple syrup' (1 cup of sugar to 1 cup of water - boil until sugar dissolves)

5) After you add the tea to the jug, add the simple syrup and fresh water.
