How to make jab "whip" sounds?

I was watching some boxing videos and I wonder how they make that cool "whip" sound when they jab?

  1. That whiping sound you hear is a combo of exhaling, power, speed, and the leather of the glove


  2. they make breath when they jab so the sound might come from their breathing or they tend to make that whip sound from their mouth.. or it might be their jab speed.. if you jab quickly and fast u can make the sound of it..it takes some time and u need to keep practice it

The whip sound is exactly that, a whip sound.  A properly thrown jab or any other punch for that matter should transfer energy just like the crack of a whip.  The fist starts out relaxed and maybe even partially open.  Not until the end of the punch does the fist completely close and become tense as the energy transfers through the arm to the end of your fist.  when the fist closes tight, the fingers and hand striking each other make the noise.

  4. i am an amateur in boxing. and you only make those kind of sounds when you hit realy hard that is y u make those sounds
