I have over 2 gallons of raw milk (from our cow) which I am going to pasteurize, and I would like to make ice cream. What's the best way of doing this? The baggie or rolling methods are only for small amounts. I have a lot of milk and want to make a lot of ice cream.

  1. double the recipe.

or if you use the powder then buy more than one bag.

lets say you have 2 gallons of milk and the recipe has 1 gallon then double it.

you can find recipe doubleers on line.

  2. Other than commercial machines your best bet would be the large churns that use ice and salt.  Find a recipe you like, make all your custard at once, store in the refrigerator and just start churning.
