How to make mom get a job?

ok my mom didnt pay the electristy so we have no power @ all shes never home so she dosnt care, what should i do i really want her to get a job but whenever i talk about it she gets mad... this happends alot and my little sister(7) and me (14) are getting really mad cus she never has $... plz answer!!! ~xoxo ally*

where is she during the day??????? she needs to take care of you and your sister. sorry but if she doesnt want to get a job she probably wont. i would talk to an adult you can trust to help you with this problem

My mom does the same thing....It's going to be VERY hard to convince her considering your her daughter. Just tell her how it has affected you and your sister. Then try thinking of some jobs that she may be interested in, if you give her a bunch of suggestions she might look into at least one of them.

maybe you should find a job online that she might be interested in..

then leave it on the computer for her to see.

you would think the fact that her kids are in danger and she has no poewr would be enough of a motivation to get a job.

You are in an unfortunate situation. As a child, you are NOT in a position to make your mother do anything. She is being irresponsible and neglectful. The only folks that can help you are CPS. You need to talk to your minister, guidance counselor ot a trusted teacher.

I am a Teacher and I see this more often that I like.  I have paid electricity bills, and bought food for kids only to have the mothers b*tch me out for not minding my own business.

I'm sorry for you and your little sister.

become her worst nightmare: become a depressed emo/loner/butch...

she'll apoligize about how she feels she's the cause of your unhappiness. and you can tell her she can make it up to you by getting a job.(:
