How to make money telling fortunes? ?

I got a deck of tarot cards for my birthday and I want to make some $ off them...but I'm too young to work at a psychic's shop or start my own, so what can I do?

If you really are gifted with tarots, then you would not be asking your question on an open forum as your cards would have foretold the answer.

If you are not gifted, then i would suggest a gyspy dress, lots of bling, scarves for your head, a long black curly wig and black tablecloths.

Make sure they are portable and hit the house party circuit.

do you already know how to read them?

making money off them is competitive work. you have to be good at it. practice helps but it's not somethign you get great at over night. intuition is what will be the hard part to work on.

if making money all that interests you then i recommend a job..if you're too young to work then try baby sitting?

as for mumbo jumbo, i recommend you actually look into the subject before you talk. It doesnt work how people think it does. It's got healing uses and it's not for lottery winning or knowing what color you're thinking of. It's connected with energy and energy is readable through science. If you do not believe in cards then you're wasting it when you say things like "Good luck" or "bless you". What do you think luck is? Not just a word, that's for sure.

and for the person below me that says this "If it's a natural gift from god why would you make money from it?Just like all these other fuegazi psychic's out there...TRUST ME tarot cards go hand and hand with Lucifer.

please don't! Not a gift from lucifer lol. divination has been with us since before christianity. Boy! You really did take the cake!!! You used to be into this "stuff". well Divination is a serious subject just like antyhing else in a pagan's life. Fun and serious at the same time. Please do not toss this around like it was nothing and act like you are well informed. You are never just "into this stuff". If you truly were you would of offered better advice.

Oh my.  Dearie - if you want to use tarot to "tell fortunes" and make money, then go to some sort of scam-artist's school.

Tarot is a tool used to divine answers.  The answers you divine with tarot are answers that are already within you (or the person you're reading for) - tarot helps you to access information that is stored in the subconscious mind.  

The cards are not really used for "fortune telling".  That's in the movies, or at carnivals (where they may be using cards but they are actually cold reading you).  That is not *real* divination.

For you to read accurately for others, well, this will take quite a bit of time, study, and practice.  If this is your first deck and you've not had any experience reading tarot before - you have a long way to go.  Enjoy it - you will learn much about your inner-self in the process.

Learn how to make stuff up and make it sound convincing :) Keep practicing with them, practice your shocked face and your happy face. When you're old enough you can open your own shop and rip other people off! Good luck, hope you succeed.
