  1. You can try sleeping in her room on a matress near her crib/cot. Then each night take it further away closer to the door. It might mean you have to sleep in her room for a few nights, but my friend did this and it worked. As long as they fall asleep in this room to start with then you should be ok.

  2. Probably going to have to do it a little bit at a time. Try making her sleep in there when she takes a nap.  Try that first.  Or make her stay up one night to where she is really tired and then lay her in the crib..let her fuss for a little bit and if she is really tired then she will just pass out there. Since you already have her use to sleeping with you, you might have to hear her fuss for a little bit. idk. I hate hearing my little one fuss so its hard for me to let him do it...but he loves his crib. whenever he is tired he doesnt care where he is sleeping!

  3. This is a mistake a lot of parents make (in my opinion) letting your baby sleep in bed with you, first off is really hard to break. As far as wanting her to go from the comfort of her bed next to mom to her own bed in her own room alone at 9 months old is a huge change.

Start with having her take naps in her crib. Play some soft music or something, following her normal bedtime routines. Once she's in her crip for her nap, don't pick her up out of it until naptime is over!! Comfort her buy rubbing her head, giving her the pacifier or whatever she uses for security (blanky etc), talk very softly to her, wait a minute or two, then walk out again. Don't let her fall asleep with you in there because then if she wakes up she will be scared because you were there when she fell asleep and not when she woke up. Once she's adjusted with naps in her crib, then move onto night time. She will learn that her crib is a good place not a bad place, give her some time. She has had 9 months of adjusting to sleeping with you, and now everything is changing so make sure you give her some time to adjust.

    GOOD LUCK to you!
