How to make my Xbox 360 output HD?

I have an older xbox 360 I got the January after they came out. It's got the 20gb HD and it came with the regular set of cables. What adapter do I need to buy to make it output HD?

You need to get the XBOX 360 HD Component Cables.

You can buy one most anywhere that will sell 360s. EB Games, GameStop, Target, Best Buy, etc.

Once you have bought the cables, there is a toggle on there that says HDTV and TV. Switch it to HDTV. Make sure your HD cables are plugged in right. EVEN MORE IMPORTANT. HAVE AN HDTV. THAT'LL HELP.

Afterwards, go to the dashboard and go all the way to the rightmost panel, go to the video settings option and choose up to 1080i. Don't choose the 1080p setting as the component cables do not have an HDMI cable.
