How to make my computer running like new ?

My computer has alot of virus and i would like to make it new again.What are the procedures?

buy an OEM disk of the operating system, not the recovery disk, reinstall your OS. presto, new computer.

IF you have the original system Boot Disk. or a system recovery backup disk ? you can load the boot disk into the drive restart the system and you will be given options to recover the hard drive or reinstall the system.

If you have viruses I would format the drive (format c:) before re loading the system. Make sure you have all the drivers handy for printers, scanners, web cams and the like, if they were not on the original backup disk.

Reinstall windows. Going through the steps it will ask you to chose a partition to install, but delete and redo the partition, then install/format windows.
