every once in a while stick your hand in the cage with seed on it and just stand there and eventually after a couple of tries.. he will probably try to get some seed from your hand and then you should start attemting to hold him :)

it takes a little while to get them to trust u. i had 2 parakeets before they were kind of easy 2 get them 2 trust me. fist of all u can try 2 put seeds in ur hand and let them eat them out of ur hand mine didnt care for that. u can try putting it on ur shoulder and let him get used 2 u or u can pet it alot finally it should start 2 trust u hope this works and good luck!!!!!!!!!

p.s if u r trying 2 get it 2 let u pick it up then u can try 2 do the seed thing but do it in the cage. put some seeds in ur hand and wait and he will get used 2 u after a few times good luck:D
