  1. buy a router, and hook them up it handles the rest

  2. Well, the easiest way is to use a router. Not a c**p one, I recommend a Linksys WRT54G-whatever. They keep tacking letter revisions onto the end. But anyway, with a router, you can connect your modem to the WAN port of the router, and connect each system to the numbered ports on the router. Make sure each system has a unique name, and that their workgroups are the same. I'm assuming you're trying to set up a Windows network, since you left no details.

After you have both systems on the network, you can elect to share folders and drives. Right click on the folder or drive to be shared, click properties, then click the sharing tab. The rest is self-explanatory.

  3. Easy.  Buy a router.

  4. buy a router, connect the router  to your internet modem, then connect the router to the computer, just follow the instructions for the router.

once you do that on each othe the computers run the network setupup wizard and create your network

once thats done u can share any files you like or any printer u like

  5. Take an online course at http://www.ed2go.com/ and learn all about networking. They even have a course on creating a home network.
