How to make new friends?

So I'm going back to school tomorrow and I might ditch my old friends because they were really mean to me. I don't want to just go up and say can i be your friend thats weird :l Should I just say can I hang out with you guys this year? Ughh idk :S helpp

Well since it is the beginning of the school year for you,just be yourself when you go in and if you see a good crowd of people during lunch time go and sit with them and maybe introduce yourself when you feel comfortable enough. You could also attend some of the little special events your school has such as parties or some academic clubs at your school. GOOD LUCK! :)

just join a club or a sports team, u will make friends that way and be in a new click

Go to clubs and dances and just hang out and talk to people. When in class, and in groups, join in with only one of your friends and try to find a couple new people. Compliment the people you might want to be friends with and get them to like you. Good luck!
