How to make new friends ?

so I'm going into high school and some of my friends are going to the same school

but i don't know if i want to hang out with them cause of something ..

but the only reasons are because i feel like some drama sh*t is going to happen later /:

so how would i make new friends ? mostly guy friends cause they wont take things to the head and they are less dramatic (in my opinion)

i made alot of friend feeling relaxed with the person i truley am and people respect me for that

3.care about them

4.make them happy

5.go to thier house
