  1. Make as follows

Boil water and add sugar and a pinch of salt.

Switch off flame and add 1tsp tea leaves and cover it for 1-2 min.

Filter it and let it be cool.

Add lime juice as per taste and keep in refrigerator to make it chilled.

  2. Start with quality tea bags, I think that is the most important thing.  I make 1/2 gal of it every day year round.  We like sweet tea, so you can cut that back as you like.

Steep 8-10 tea bags (adjust to taste) in 32 oz boiling water for 15 minutes in a container large enough to hold 1/2 gallon.  Remove tea bags and add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup lemon juice.  Stir well to dissolve the sugar then add 32 oz of cold water and stir again.

Allow the tea to cool completely before refrigerating to keep it from becoming cloudy.

Variations we also like:  replace white sugar with raw sugar or honey, replace 1/4 cup of lemon juice with lime juice, add sprigs of crushed mint to each glass.

    Enjoy!

  3. I make it in the summer more for some reason and this is how :

Make a pot of tea as normal not too strong though , let it cool and pour into a jug for the fridge but before this add a little lemon or lemon juice sugar, honey or sweeteners to taste, then chill with ice is nicer to me.

As simple as that but remember not too strong, that for some reason makes it taste better and i take my hot tea strong and the lemon cuts the bitter taste you can get in tea too.

    Enjoy.

  4. buy the nestle stuff and mix the powder with a glass of water

  5. Sun Tea!

Glass jar (LG) or glass dispenser.

Add about 12+ teabags and set the container in the sun until the right color....it will get darker and darker, but will also get bitter, so take it inside when nice and golden brown.

    Sweeten if desired.

  6. I use a small sauce pan with cold water, 3-4 good tea bags (Lipton) a pinch of baking soda, bring to a boil & remove from heat. Let steep for 5 minutes. If you like sweet tea, add 1 c. sugar, or to taste, add cold water to make 1 gallon. My kids drink 1 1/2 gallons a day. ( 4Kids)
