How to make nice pictures of persons?

Hello!

Does anyone has got tips about taking pictures of persons?

Especially I mean taking pictures of somebodys head.

If you don't know what I mean, take a look at this:

And I'm not talking about Photoshop effects, I know how to do that.

You have to be able to communicate with the subject and they need to be comfortable with you.

You will have to tell the subject exactly what you need. You can see the sequence here):

Photoshop cannot turn a bad photo into a good one. Don't rely on it.

when you take pics like the first one. Try aiming the camera in front of the subject even with two ppl  -n- also aim a the cam so you can get the whole head -n- face .2. pic  try to zoom in a little so you get the subject not the whole background just a small part of the back ground remember you want ppl to see your subject not how clean you keep your room LOL.

The  third pic looks good with outside pics try to keep the sun behind you. hope some of this helps

BTW. try holding the camera differnet ways like side ways

Lighting, composition and repartee with the models.

This is something that just takes time and experience.

Look on one or two of the model/photographers networking sites for good ideas.   Model Mayhem and One Model Place are two

You can also look for Yahoo Groups in your area that are interested in portrait and glamour photography
