  1. I do mine like this.

wash potatoes, and cut in 8ths...

dip in corn oil, and sprinkle with salt, and pepper.

bake for about 40 min or until tender.

You could also sprinkle some rosemary on them.

  2. hey, dear. check this site out it's pretty amazing.

  3. add your peeled and cut potatoes to a pan of boiling water. boil for ten minutes, then put them into a baking tray with hot oil (put the oil in the oven in the tray for a few minutes before hand) then cook for around 1.5-2 hours.

  4. I use the premade Lipton dried soup.  It's in the soup isle and the directions are on the back.  Delicious.

  5. Turn on oven to 180 degrees centigrade and place a baking tray with either lard or the fat from your meat, or if not just vegetable oil.

Ensure there is enough fat to baste the potatoes, as you can always tip it away after.

Peel potatoes, cut to desired size, place in pan of cold water and bring to the boil for about 4 minutes then drain.

Place potatoes carefully in hot baking tray, add garlic if required, or rosemary - in fact any herbs will do, and bake for an hour to an hour and a half depending on what else is cooking, basting frequently and turning and drain off excess fat about 10 minutes before serving.

  6. take red potatoes and drizzle some evoo on them and sprinkle some ranch powder mix on it..its awsome

  7. in the oven

  8. I find that any type of potato will work. Larger potatoes, I cut into wedges and smaller ones I leave whole or just cut in half.

Toss with a small amount of olive oil and some salt & pepper &/or dried herbs or seasonings (like everyone else has said - almost anything goes).

The best trick I have found is to cook them on a preheated metal cookie sheet at 400F. (preheat your oven, then add the empty cookie sheet for 5 mins or so, when you take the hot pan out, drizzle a small amount of oil on the hot pan, then add your potatoes.) They come out perfectly brown and crispy every time!

    Happy cooking!

  10. Red potatoes make the best roast potatoes.  They are moister and never end up with that dry, crumbly taste.  I like to wash them and cut them up with the skin on and then put them in a bag with 1 Tblspn of oil and 1 Tblspn of water.  Then I use the seasoning in a seasoning packet from the grocery store (any seasoning packet - sometimes I use taco seasoning or chili seasoning packets, or sometimes even the packets for making spaghetti sauce) and pour it in over the potatoes and shake them up really good to coat the potatoe pieces.  Then I spread the potatoes out in a pan and bake them in the oven for about 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees F.  About halfway through, turn the potatoes and stir them up a bit so they get evenly browned on both sides.  I have had lots of people rave about how good my seasoned roasted potatoes are.  :D

  11. get the small red potatoes, and some potatoe seasoning. Mix the seasoning with a tablespoon of olive iol, then pour over the potatoes in a pan. Mix the potatoes and the seasoning well so they all get coated. Bake at 350 degrees fo 45-50 min, or until golden brown. You can buy the seasoning at publix, or make  you own,.....old bay,...saly, pepper, basil, and a small amount of paprika

  12. Parsley onion potatoes

5-6 potatoes of any kind you can leave the skin on or peel them.

    1 onion

    1/4 cup olive oil

    cover potatoes with parsley

mix all ingredients in a pie tin and either place on the grill for 20 minute or in oven at 350 for 45 minutes. check every 15 minutes and stir them.

  13. ROASTED POTATOES

    4 to 6 red thin-skinned new potatoes

    1/4 c. light cooking oil

    2 tbsp. parsley flakes

    Salt and pepper, to taste

Wash and cut up potatoes, but DO NOT PEEL. Put oil, parsley flakes and seasonings in a plastic bag. Add potatoes to bag and shake until they are thoroughly coated with oil. Place in a large Pyrex baking dish. If you are cooking a roast, bake potato dish along side for at least 1 hour.

To cook potatoes alone, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover potatoes loosely with plastic wrap, and cook first in microwave on HIGH for 8 minutes. Finish cooking (roasting) in preheated oven, uncovered, for about 1/2 hour or until lightly browned. If not browned after 1/2 hour, turn oven up to 450 degrees, watch closely. Put in serving dish.

    Serves 4.

  14. I like to just quarter them them add a little olive oil toss them so they get well coated and them sprinkle on some garlic salt.  My sister uses fancy spices and they turn out wonderful too but I always just use garlic salt.

Then I just bake at about 400 for however long it takes depending on how big the tater are usually about 30-45 mins.

  15. The best way to make potatoes is.....

Slice the potatoes with the skins on, clean them first of course.

    Slice one whole onion

Slice a couple of peppers.  Use red green and  yellow, makes it pretty.

You can make big slices of all.  Use a lot of butter,

Make it all in a foil wrap and cook at 350 for about an hour or until it smells good enough to eat.

  16. I like the red potatoes.  I get the small ones and quarter them and toss them in olive oil.  season w/ salt, pepper and rosemary.  bake in a glass baking dish on 375F for 35 minutes.  they go great with pork most especially.
