Paper Mache! Is made by cutting paper into thin strips.Make a glue  or paste out of flour & water( what we used in school,i think) Put glue in large bowl. Dip the paper in the glue & start formong your figure,by adding strips of paper. When done,set it aside & let dry.

Be careful - a machete is a dangerous weapon. I don't think you could make one out of paper...............

I assume you mean papier mache.  

You can get the powdered type of wall paper paste that mixes with water.

Tear narrow strips of newspaper

Use a shape to form your papier mache it around.  For instance, when I am making a head for a Halloween mask, I use a large balloon.

Dip each strip in the mixed paste and spread them over the form.  

Let some layers dry before adding more, otherwise it takes forever to dry.

When you have finished making the item, let it dry and then paint or do whatever you're going to do with it.

There is a prepackaged, ground up paper to mix with water instead of going to all that work.  It makes papier mache much easier to work with, rather than all those strips and paste.  I can't tell you the name of it because some jerk turned one of my answers in as"soliciting" because they didn't agree with me and Y/A won't even read my answer to find out that it was a lie, so I'm not mentioning any brand names.
