fussilli is a type of pasta, like penne, fetticcine. they are just a type of noodle. buy a box of fussilli pasta noodles in a box and boil a pot of water till it starts boiling then dump the noodles in the water. stir them till they are soft, drain out the water and they are done. hopefully you have a sauce ready.

1/2 cup classic basil pesto

freshly ground pepper

freshly grated Grana Padano (or substitute domestic parmesan)

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt and the pasta, and cook until al dente. Drain the pasta, and transfer it to a bowl. Add the pesto, season with salt and pepper, and toss well. Serve topped with Grana. Serves 4
