How to make play dough with out cream of tarter.?

My son is wanting to make play dough, but I don't have any cream of tarter. What else can I use or can someone tell me how to make it without it? Thanks.

I don't know about making playdough with cream of tarter, but when I was little my mom used to make edible play dough for us with this recipe.  It works just like play dough and tastes great!

12 oz Peanut butter

6 tb Honey

1/2 c (to 1 1/2 cups) nonfat dry -milk powder

Mix all ingredients together.  Add more honey if it is too try and more powered milk if it is too sticky.

2 cups baking soda

1 1/2 cups water

1 cup cornstarch

Mix with a fork until smooth. Boil over medium heat until thick. Spoon onto plate or wax paper.
