  1. What I do is I peel the outer husks off the corn and leave 1-2 layers of inner ones. I just fold the inner husks down so that I can remove the annoying corn strings and then I replace the husk over the corn. Then, I loosen the husk a little bit by pulling some of the husks down/off, but leaving most of them on and then you can either grill them on a BBQ or put them in oven at 350 deg. until the husks are slightly brown.

(sorry if that sounded a little confusing)

    Here's a recipe for oven-roasted corn: http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1850,147...

you can use whatever spices you want if you don't have green onions, etc.

  2. Have you already pulled all the husks off? if not just remove the outer layers, leaving about 2 or 3 layers of husks on it. Peel them back and remove the silks. Brush the corn with melted butter, salt and pepper if desired. pull the husks back up around the corn. Toss this on the edges of the grill if it is really hot. keep rolling them around and around. When the husks begin to burn a bit, the corn should be done.

Other way, remove the husks and silk, brush the corn with melted butter, salt and pepper if desired. wrap the corn in aluminum foil and toss on the grill. Also keep turning it so it doesn't burn on one side.

    Cook it about 10 minutes.

toss those foil wrapped corns on a baking sheet and put under the broiler of the oven. turn twice in 15 minutes.

  3. I begin with a webber grill with hot coals. I soak the corn in the husks in water while the coals are getting hot. Then grill about 5 minutes per side. You can certainly roll more often so long as the total time is 10-12 minutes. You do not want to over cook it, just heat through.

Once hot peel from the silk down one side then the other, coat with butter and salt and pepper if you like.

    MMMMMMM Delicious. Hope you enjoy.

  4. This may or may not be what you're looking for but this is how we make it:

Get fresh corn on the cob and wrap it in tin foil. (The tin foil is optional, if you want grill marks throw it on without it). Grill it for a few minutes and voila`! Roasted corn!
