  1. You could google it and find a billion different recipes. You can also make it your own, add whatever you like to a basic sangria.

  2. I had some great sangria in Belgium (which is French speaking and used french wine)... it was made with a good red wine, and mixed with grand marnier.  They added orange and apple slices to the mix which had been soaked for a few hours in the refridgerator in more grand marnier.

Very delicious.  You could also add a cinnamon stick or some orange zest for additional flavor.

  4. 2 gallons red wine

    1 cup brandy

    2 quarts orange juice

    2 cups lemon juice

    1 cup superfine sugar

    12 to 16 ice cubes

    2 quarts chilled club soda

    3 oranges, thinly sliced

    3 lemons, thinly sliced

I also like to add bits of peaches, apples and pears.  I let it sit overnight in the fridge to get the fruit all drunk and delicious.  You can also substitute sprite or 7 up for the club soda, but then you might want to leave out the sugar.

  5. Sangria is usually made with fruit juice, red wine, brandy, fruit, sugar and possibly some club soda/ginger ale. It all depends upon who is making it.
