How to make stereotypical ninja attire?

I'd like a ninja suit. The ones for sale are shiny, polyester/nylon crapsuits (even the good ones!). Halloween is coming and I want a good suit of cotton (I already have tabi boots).

I was a ninja last year, and so were my kids, and nothing was pre-fab.(I hate those)

I ordered a cool black dragon hoodie off eBay(the kind that pulls over, not zip up), with designs on the arms and back, and then had a black face wrap cover up thing I wore under it, and my pants were some black Yoga pants that I had,and then I put  a cool temp tattoo on my forehead and ties on my arms, then top it off with various ninja wepons, my son even had the swords you wear on your back.
