  1. get them involved ask them things they would like to do and have patience and don't just do  book work the entire time get them involved.

  2. You can start a class by making stories or set of pictures and let the students create their own story. be creative, even when you need to give a quiz u can give it in a kind of games. it will certainly arise the students' eagerness.

  3. do a lot of actives so there doing something and learning...they will understand it more and want to pay attention....don't make it boring please

  4. If you want the class to be lively, interested, and satisfied, you as a teacher have to be energetic, interesting, and master the art of storytelling. Tweak their curiosity, answer honestly, pass the question around so everyone can have their say.

One of the best strategies I have is to always be aware of their interests and relate these to what I want them to learn. Look for a strategy you are comfortable with then keep improving on it. Be aware of the latest trends in what you are teaching, often its the incidental learning that sticks to their heads not the textbooks. If students see how passionate you are about what you teach, they will pay attention.

  5. depends on the class. if you teach english or history have them act out a play or a period of a time, if you teach a science do something hands on with them, if you teach math try letting them work in groups on classwork assignments.

there are always ways to get them interested. you just have to think from there perspective. when you were their age what would you have changed about your classes? use that to changed your own classes

    good luck!

  6. To improve the teaching of boys in highschools, there needs to be more male teachers teaching male classes. Us guys see school, particularly English, as a feminine domain. The quicker maturing boys are taught by good male role models in high schools, the better their HSC results, and their self-esteem; with the amount of divorce rates these days, many growing boys don't have the software from their fathers so male teachers are needed more than ever.

  7. i dont know much but trying to be friendly, or making the class know the idea of student thinking about any particular topic. Explaining students in a way that the topic is a magic. And even leaving the students uncleared telling tht wat may happen next and they will keep thinking about it and then tell them in the next class wat really happend.

  8. dont just let them sit on their desk and open books and memorize this and memorize that.. let them explore, do more activities related to the subject.
