How to make the most out of 23rd birthday in Las Vegas

My wife and I are struggling to figure out how to make the absolute best out of my 23rd birthday. We will be visiting Las Vegas in early September for 3 nights.

We're looking for somewhere that's entertaining and I'll never turn down any free comps for my birthday, so where would be the best places to visit. It is our first time in Vegas and so we're excited and not quite sure where to visit.

  1. go to the vegas-based search on http://thinkingofvegas.blogspot.com and type in comps, or freebies, or "promo codes" (that's for rooms that come with extras), or nightlife, coupons, etc.

Try this site http://www.thetwentydollartrick.com/  i've never done it but it tells you how to try for a room upgrade - a tip plus the fact it's your birthday might do the trick, assuming you're not there over Labor Day or while a big convention is in town.

What's fun depends on you.  The flair bartenders at Harrah's Carnival Court is great fun for some - for others it's a romantic dinner overlooking the lights of Vegas Strip.  Just go with a good attitude, and a budget of what you'll spend gambling.

  2. I am sorry to say that you will not get any free comps for it being your birthday, thousands of people come to Vegas to celebrate every weekend.

Nitetours is a very good way to see the clubs cheaply and without the bother of having to stand in line, I may be slightly biased as Darin the guy who owns it is a good friend of mine. http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2008...

As far as hotels go you have a  huge choice and a lot of this comes down to money

Excalibur is cheap and the rooms are big and clean contaryto what you may read its not full of screaming kids but it does not have a club and I can only remember seeing one bar (I have stayed there twice)

Luxor is good value a little too far up the Strip maybe but now has excellent clubs and bars and big (if a little boring pool) the value of the rooms there is very very good.

MGM huge hotel, huge rooms and great pool scene lots of bars and good places to eat.

Mirage my favorite nice hotel good pool great prices and good bars

TI - fun place lots of young people here pool not os hot though

    If you have money Bellagio

Book direct with the hotel for the best rate and one that is flexible best direct current offers are here http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2008...

  3. My sister went to Vegas and loved going to the Circ du Soleil shows.

She said they were absolutly amazing!!

Iv heard the clubs are hard to get into and you have to buy at least a bottle or 2 of vodka or Campagne to even get a table.
