. Every child in the world needs someone to watch over them and if a coach or a parent keeps pressuring a child in doing something that they don’t want then that is not protection that is abuses.

    Every child in the world needs someone to watch over him or her.  If a coach, or parent, pressures the child into doing something against his or her wishes, this can change from protection to abuse.

    However, if it MUST be one sentence, try:

    When a coach or parent, whose primary job should be to watch over a child, pressures that child into doing something against his or her wishes, it can become abuse rather than protection.
