How to make tons of friends in Jr. High??

Question

I know I should just go up and talk to someone, but what am I supposed to talk about?

Omgg....just give me some advice about anything in Jr. High, I'm sooo NERVOUS! :)

well, you all have one thing in common: you're all in the same boat, in that you're in junior high and its not the funnest place to be... join a lot of clubs, make small talk, etc etc

They'll say "hi or something."

Introduce yourself.

So ask about school at first favorite subject teacher.

Then Sports? Boys?

Just be yourself and try and talk to people as much as possible. Start with small talk like:

So, how's your first day?

What do you think of your teachers?

What elementary school did you go to?

etc

the obvious answer is to just be yourself.

then once youre friends with a classmate they introduce you to their friends

Junior High is easy...Just sit next to someone in one of your classes and just start talking. I'm graduating for Middle School this year. Its really easy. Nobody's really going to notice you until like, the second week of school. Everybody was trying to get adapted and get the lockers open. Its nothing to be scared about.

Girl, Same thing going on here! I'm entering Jr. high and I feel the same way. You don't have to make TONS of friends! What I think is helpful is to look around your class first thing. I'm sure for me and you, there will be a lot of girls feeling and looking the same way we will. Look for them, and walk up and start a conversation! ("Hi, I'm ******. I came from ***** school, where did you come from?") Trust me, I'm sure you'll have friends. And, just be confident. It'll make school SO much easier. **hope this helps!**

By the way, which school are you going to and what state/city? Maybe we'll be going to the same one!

just be yourself if your meeting new kids ask them which elementry school they came from, what did they do that summer, what town do they live, do they play any sports, soon the conversation will just flow and youll have a new friend. just be yourself, chances are youre not going to get along with EVERYone, so just be nice, even if you dont like someone. one word of advice, dont get caught up in all the drama that jr. high brings. just be yourself and have fun
