There might be people who are poching on our land, and I want to catch them and stop them from killing our wildlife. Please help me, I want to catch them and not hurt the animals with the traps!

you three with comments above me obviously miss the point o this trap. it is not intended for people but for small game, possibly larger animals if constructed properly.

Ok now this is for hunting only, as it WILL be VERY effective. What you do is get some bendable wood or other material and plant it in the ground in some bushes or along a path. Be sure it is hidden. Now take a platform and nail it to the bendable material. In this platform, you will put sharpend sticks. You can get these easily from breaking broom sticks in two. Put these on the platform so it will look like the diagram. (When it is sprung and not folded)

This can be mounted sideways to a tree as well. Now when it s bent back, tie it on the end of the platform to a sting, preferably fishing line. Make  it can come off though. Then lay this line across the path about 4-8 inches off the ground and tie it to a tree or something secure. Afterwards when something kicks or trips the wire, it will release and send the platform hurling into the path. This can be done without spikes and instead water balloons, to, make it safe. Have fun and enjoy cause this is from Nam....

get a big chunk of wood then tie it to a string then tie the other end to a
door handle after that put the wood up high so that when someone opens the door they get hit in the head
