  1. It sounds like you need a source of higher current draw. Just put a couple of high capacitance caps and put a safety electrical crowbar to prevent crashing of and damage from a bad component.


  2. lol why would you wire two 12volt batteries if you only want 12 volts.if you want 12 volt and more current just hook them up in parelel

  3. You can't.  If you want 12 volts, you have to wire them in parallel.  Connecting them in series increases the voltage.

I am afraid I have to agree with the former answerer, it would be quite hard to do this without some expensive external electronics, but it can be done and it would save you from the danger of unbalanced cells.  The device you would need is called a DC-DC Converter or V-A converter, these are actually fairly easy to make but considering the possible draw you will need larger heartier components.  Do not wire car batteries in parallel it is dangerous because the inequality between cells will cause the batteries to constantly attempt to balance and in the process would damage both cells and being as they are car batteries they would overheat and explode (car batteries expel hydrogen gas when they are charged so too much heat is a big nono.
