How to make wedding bouquet

My fiance wants to make here own bouquet...the hand held one with nothing draping. Any good DIY guides on how to make it neatly? And what types of flowers work best in such a situation? She wants it to be pink. Is there pinning, or such involved. I'm asking on her behalf...I really am clueless on this kind of thing. I would appreciate any help or direction I could share with her and even links. Thank you in advance.

  1. use newer, tighter blooms, 15 is a good number. make sure blooms are fresh. have a large container of water with floral preservative for the flowers.  trim the stems to the right length...about 8 inches. use floral wire coiled around each stem, stuck into the base of the bloom, trimming even with the stem.  keep the newly cut stems submerged until you are ready to put bouquet together.  use floral tape to wrap the stems, covering the wire.  gather three blooms together tightly, and wrap with floral tape to secure. add stems to this central piece, wrapping the bundle to secure.  when all the blooms are added and secure, use a pretty ribbon to wrap the covered stems, you can use decorative pins to secure.
