  1. If you're looking for FREE software to make console videogames -- instead of a free online game -- you can get everything you need to create an Xbox360 game straight from Microsoft for FREE!!!

    Just use XNA and C# Express edition...

    You can use these FREE tools to create a PC game that will (with maybe a little tweaking) also play on an Xbox360. Note however, that you have to pay $49-$99 if you want to upload your game to the 360 for testing. :(

    It requires too much software to do online.
