  1. Yep, it's all about cardio.  Think of those activities that use the large leg muscles: power walking, running, biking, dancing, skating, swimming laps, jumping rope, jumping jacks, plus side and front lunges, squats...

  3. I know it doesn't sound really appealing but the only way to lose fat and gain muscle is to work out and eat healthy. I'm a vegetarian though and just because you eat healthy doesn't mean you have to eat things that taste like cardboard- get some lean protein like nuts, tofu, veggie burgers, beans and yogurt, avoid fatty meats- and eat fruits and veggies.  Please do not stop eating though!!!! Just eat healthier =)Don't immediately cross tofu off your list though- try it mixed into something like tofu pad thai and it's delicious! Instead of eating ice cream, make a fruit smoothie- little diet changes like that.

    Also to get rid of unwanted fat start playing sports at school or jogging around your neighborhood with your ipod. These things can only make you healthier and can only improve your self confidence.
