Dear Always keep in mind that Dark colour recedes & light colour projects. It is called art of illusion.For a big wide nose, foundation that is two shades darker than the skin tone should be applied to the sides of nose from eyebrows to the nostrils. if this is not possible, use a foundation a couple of shades lighter than ur skin tone.streak down the centre of ur nose,from bridge to the tip. be careful to apply under the tip also. i hope this will solve ur problem. if ur nose is very big u can make it look less conspicuous,by using powder couple of shades darker than that, on the rest of the face.good luck.

make sure ur skin is not shiny or greasy, that makes ur nose look more pronounced. and also always part your hair to the side.

Hmm well a good idea would be probally if you dont like your nose maybe do your eye make up stronger add eyeshadow to distract people so that they focus on your beautiful eyes or a red lipstick .. something like that :) good luck!

i use this trick.

get a mineral mosaic powder wheel.

using a mini kabuki, swirl in the darker shades of the wheel.

blend that shade on the outer sides of the bridge of your nose

then, using the more flesh toned shades.

blend down the center of your nose.

this will create a narrowing effect.

you can make your nose look thinner by putting a small amount of either blush, or foundation a shade or two darker than your natural skin on the sides of your nose/nostrils. im not sure about making it look shorter though, if thats what you meant instead
