and no not just running with a longer stride that made me slower any exercises, sites, or tips

  1. A really good way to lengthen your stride is to do hillsprints.

    These are pretty intense workouts on a incline on a hill at your local park.

    Going up, this will increase your stride frequency and your form.

    Going down, this will lengthen your stride.

    Be sure to do these in equal amounts. I suggest you run up, jog to turn around, and immediately sprint down.

    You can google hillsprints, and I'm sure you will agree that the consensus is that they are very good for you.


  2. first off to an easy way to help make your stride longer is to just focus on using "big" arms (exaggerating the back and forth of your arms as you run) and basically any lift with your legs will make you faster especially if you work your hammies alot. good luck!
