I would not like to think you could keep a fox as a pet ! they need to be in the wild , unless there is a medical problem ! even with this you should keep human contact to a minimum !!

THE most kind thing you can do is release it .It wants to be with others  like itself not you .Would you like to live where you can not comunicate with another like you or do the things you love to do? Being kept is what YOU want not the fox,if you really love it you will put it's best interest first.

People are dumb.

FYI most foxes are breed in captivity. Stupid. So what's more cruel, keeping the fox (that was breed in captivity it's whole life, and probably it's parents) or releasing an animal that depends on humans into the wild where it will starve? Honestly, do people even think before they speak anymore?

What you should do, is get a high protein dog food, dry or wet. Feed him twice a day, and make sure that he has plenty of room outside to run around. If he isn't harness trained (don't use a leash and collar) start getting into the habit, your fox wont be able to go outside unless it's on a harness. If it got loose, it can die in the wild. As a snack, feed it whole raw eggs. Foxes love them. You can email me with more questions if you need to!
