How to manipulate a kitten to drink?

A friend had a stray give birth under her house. The momma was malnourished and her milk dried up. We took one of the kittens and took it to the vet. She gave us a bottle and special kitten milk. She weighs 7 ounces and is about 2 1/2 weeks old. It's hard to get it to take the bottle. She only wants to crawl in my hair. I guess it reminds her of mommy. How much should she eat at her age? How often? Vet says she appears healthy. I'm thinking of going to get the other 3 kittens at least until they are old enough to find good homes for. I've raised wild birds from 1 day old that survived so I have the Patience. I just need a little advice. Any experience you can share would be helpful

thank you

      Best of luck

  2. I don't know, but, just as a guess, try warming the milk up just a little.  Obviously, don't make it hot, but make sure it's about room temp, maybe a tad warmer?  Just a guess.  Ideally, it should be the same temp as it's mother's body temp, but I don't know what that is.

  3. try to put it in a bowl with an ice cube in it maybe. ive gotten my cat to drink more by puttin ice in his water, it makes him more interested and drink a lot of water.
