How to manually turn on pool heater on automated thermostat?

Question

I'm trying to sell my house, and the inspector is saying my gas pool heater is inoperable. It's a very simple unit, no on/off, no pilot, and controlled via a thermostat in the clock box. Since it's >100oF's in TX, I can't manually turn it on....last winter it worked fine...

Is there any was to force the unit to turn on? It's a Teledyne Laars 'Laars Lite' model LLD

bypass your t-stat in heater

if what your saying is correct try using a dry fire extinguisher it should almost freeze the t=stst if you need it to get cold
