upgrade your internet speed, and speed up your computer

you can download programs that work to speed up downloading. but if u don't want to do that then i suggest not having any background tasks open, restarting you computer b4 downloading and only download one thing at a time.

I doubt that is your ISP connection speed.

Chances are - you were downloading from a site that is slow or overloaded - very far from you or just plain crusty

2 Gigabytes of stored data is about 17180 Mbits

Divide that by 36 hours is 477 Mbits per Hour

which is 8 Mbits per minute OR 0.15 Mbits per second

A strong connnection should give you much more

A typical cable connection is about 5.0 Mbps

If this is typical for all downloads then order a faster ISP connection
