How to measure a box, ex, blank x blank x blank? Help?

I need to measure a box for a shipment and where it tells you to put info, it has 3 box's, can someone show me how to measure and in what order, i know its something like length and width but i don't know!! help!!

length x width x height

height . length and girth. girth is measured all the way aroung the box. Or you may mean, heigth/ length/ width. Hope this helps.  Good luck
