How to memorize easy ?

is there any ways or tips to memorize definitions .. ? thx`.

I find the best way is to read it aloud. If you read it aloud you can actually hear what you are saying and it just seems to stick way better. Also another thing I like to do is type it up or write it on a whiteboard and erase random words until I know it.

these are all good ideas i like to look at the script and break down the emotions for each line, which in turn help me commit them to memory. you can try this if you want. really its all up to what your preferences are,

It depends on what kind of learner you are... auditory (hearing the information) or visual (seeing the information).

Flash cards work the best for a visual learner.  Plus, it's helpful to write out the words and definitions yourself.

If you are an auditory learner, try making a tape of the words and definitions, with a pause in between so that you can test yourself.

Either way, repetition is key.  Do whatever method you choose over and over again until you can recite the information in your sleep.  This is called overlearning, and it works really well, especially if you have to recall info for a test.

Yes, there are several different techniques. To me, the most effective is to create a sentence that you picture the word with and that explains the word. An example could be:

Sentinel: a guard

The sentence could be something like "The brave sentinel stood guard over my home."

This technique can be especially effective when combined with a mental picture for visual learners or saying it aloud for auditory learners.

You could try mind mapping. It is a method where in you convert written words into pictures. Its a fun exercise where you actually make simple sketches of the answers and also learn it. It works really well as our mind can remember pictures better than written information. Like say if your answer is on the the various courses of a river, then you could start of making simple pictures of the mountains then the plains and finally the river meeting the sea. This might not be possible for everything.

   So you could also use mnemonics! It is really fun too! Different types of codes for each answer! It could using the first alphabet of a sentence or whichever way it is favourable for you!
